Exercise to stretch your writing muscles.
Take a short walk before your writing routine or cook your favourite meal. Try to get into the habit of writing every day, even if it’s just for 15 or 20 minutes.
Keep Your Ears Open.
If you’re stuck for ideas, carry a notebook everywhere and write down your observations.
Revise & Edit Your Work.
If you know there are problems with your story but can’t pinpoint them, ask a fellow writer to read through it and give feedback. Most writers go through similar challenges or setbacks.
Writing is not a chore. Take a break and do something that you enjoy to do or read your favourite book. Your mind can only produce creative ideas when you surround yourself with creativity.
